A single role-play with an AI avatar can indeed be built quickly today, and that’s a good path for early experiments. The real effort comes after that: independent evaluation that doesn’t come from the same system running the conversation, a data-protection setup that convinces works councils and IT, scenario management for many users, reporting, and ongoing adaptation with every model update from AI providers. Many of our customers have run exactly this assessment internally. You speak live by audio with an AI character, in real time, like on a phone call. The characters have their own personalities, respond to the flow of your conversation, and don’t fold at the first argument. The conversation is evaluated by a second, independent AI that analyzes it against the scenario goals and core competencies and backs its feedback with concrete moments from your transcript. Best to judge it yourselves: in the first meeting we run a scenario live.

Two models. For getting started we run a starter program with a fixed package price depending on participant count and duration, including preparation, scenario creation, and check-in meetings. For ongoing use afterwards there are seat-based prices per user and month, tiered by team size, or program-bound packages if you couple the training to workshops and fixed occasions. Typically three to six months with a defined participant group. We fully prepare the platform before you start: your context, your scenarios, and learning paths if you want them. During the program there are fixed feedback meetings, and at the end we look together at usage and competency development and decide on that basis about ongoing operation. A starter program is a real project with a completion criterion, not an informal trial account.

As a practice layer in your programs, not as competition. You bring methodology, facilitation, and the client relationship; the platform brings repeatable conversation practice and evaluation between your live modules. For training providers and consultancies, Careertrainer is available as a white-label solution under your own brand, multi-tenant for your end customers. You can use your participants’ evaluations as a basis for your one-to-one coaching.

Hosted in the EU, GDPR-compliant, with a data processing agreement and technical and organizational measures that we provide for your review. Important for co-determination: Careertrainer is built as a training instrument, not a control instrument. Transcripts are visible by default only to the user themselves; managers see aggregated development rather than individual conversations. We discuss this configuration before go-live so works councils and data protection officers can be involved early.

Not an IT project. Careertrainer runs in the browser, with no installation and no connection to your systems. Users are invited by email and complete their first conversation in a few minutes. Custom scenarios are created via a generator where you describe your situation in plain language. In the starter program we handle preparation, so your internal work is essentially naming participants and giving feedback.

A browser and a microphone — that’s it. In some corporate networks, firewalls block audio connections in the browser. For that we provide your IT with a short document on network requirements in advance, so go-live doesn’t get stuck on a firewall setting.

For pure knowledge transfer without conversation practice, classic e-learning is the better and cheaper choice. Pure rhetoric coaching without conversation simulation, deep personal coaching topics, and technical training without a conversation component are also not our field.
