How realistic are the conversations really?

You speak live by audio with an AI character, in real time, like on a phone call. The characters have their own personalities and don’t fold at the first argument. The conversation is evaluated by a second, independent AI that backs its feedback with concrete moments from your transcript. Best to judge it yourselves: in the first meeting we run a scenario live.

What happens after we submit a request?

After your request you’ll get a booking link from us. In the conversation itself, about 45 minutes, we first understand your situation and then run a live role-play — if it fits, already with a scenario from your context. After that we set up a trial account with prepared scenarios, plus a short intro video, and schedule a follow-up meeting right away. There we look together at your impressions and evaluations and decide whether a starter program is the right next step. No sales pressure at any point: if it isn’t a fit, we’ll say so.

Can I try the tool myself for free beforehand?

Yes. You can register for free with your email address and run a first role-play immediately, without talking to us first. That’s the fastest way to get a feel for the format. For a real evaluation in a company context we still recommend the consultation: there you’ll get a prepared trial account with scenarios from your world — and that’s where you’ll see what the training can do for you.

What does Careertrainer cost for companies?

Two models. For getting started, a starter program with a fixed package price depending on participant count and duration, including preparation, scenario creation, and check-in meetings. For ongoing use afterwards, seat-based prices per user and month or program-bound packages. Details on the pricing page; in the conversation we calculate your setup.

How does a starter program work?

Typically three to six months with a defined participant group. We fully prepare the platform before you start: your context, your scenarios, and learning paths if you want them. During the program there are fixed feedback meetings; at the end we decide based on usage and competency development about ongoing operation. A real project with a completion criterion, not an informal trial account.

We’re trainers, coaches, or a consultancy. How do you work with us?

As a practice layer in your programs, not as competition. You bring methodology, facilitation, and the client relationship; the platform brings repeatable conversation practice and evaluation between your live modules. For training providers and consultancies, Careertrainer is available as a white-label solution under your own brand, multi-tenant for your end customers.

What about data protection and works councils?

Hosted in the EU, GDPR-compliant, with a data processing agreement and technical and organizational measures for your review. Important for co-determination: Careertrainer is built as a training instrument, not a control instrument. Transcripts are visible by default only to the user themselves; managers see aggregated development rather than individual conversations.

How much effort is the rollout for us?

Not an IT project. Careertrainer runs in the browser, with no installation and no connection to your systems. Users are invited by email and complete their first conversation in a few minutes. In the starter program we handle preparation — your internal work is essentially naming participants and giving feedback.

Are there technical requirements?

A browser and a microphone — that’s it. In some corporate networks, firewalls block audio connections in the browser. For that we provide your IT with a short document on network requirements in advance, so go-live doesn’t get stuck on a firewall setting.

What is Careertrainer not suitable for?

For pure knowledge transfer without conversation practice, classic e-learning is the better and cheaper choice. Pure rhetoric coaching without conversation simulation, deep personal coaching topics, and technical training without a conversation component are also not our field. Careertrainer pays off where people want to practice recurring, demanding conversations beforehand.

A single role-play with an AI avatar can indeed be built quickly today, and that’s a good path for early experiments. The real effort comes after that: independent evaluation, a data-protection setup that convinces works councils and IT, scenario management for many users, reporting, and ongoing adaptation with every model update from AI providers.
